Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians for a leading dealer in Basingstoke. This role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 to £36,000 plus bonuses, manufacturer training, and a chance to work with advanced diagnostic tools. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience in a similar role. Working hours are Monday to Friday with additional Saturdays on rotation.

Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Vehicle Technicians to join our established client, a franchised main dealer based in Basingstoke. This role offers a competitive salary, great working hours, manufacturer training, and the opportunity to work with the latest diagnostic equipment and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles
• Perform MOTs, brake inspections, and safety checks to manufacturer and DVSA standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in line with manufacturer guidance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation in line with dealership processes
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• MOT License preferred but not essential.

The Package

• Basic Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 per year
• Bonus scheme: OTE of £40,000 per year
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:30pm) Saturdays, 1 in 4 (8:00am to 2:00pm)
