Job summary

Arnold Clark Glasgow Kilbirnie Street Bodyshop is seeking an experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to restore accident-damaged and sales vehicles to their former glory. You’ll work in a busy workshop, using paint skills to deliver a high-standard finish.

We offer 44 hours per week, 33 days’ annual leave (increasing with service), and regular salary reviews. Excellent opportunities for training and career progression, private healthcare, sick pay, and family-friendly packages are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
