Job summary

Arnold Clark is seeking a Vehicle Spray Painter in Stoke-on-Trent. You will work in a busy workshop on accident-damaged and sales vehicles, restore finishes and ensure high-quality paintwork.

The role runs Monday–Thursday 8am–5.30pm and Friday 8am–4.30pm, with 44 hours per week and generous leave. Applicants should have prior spray painting experience in a professional workshop, be energetic and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
