Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician for our Fusion centre as part of the Halfords Garage Services team. You will carry out interim, full and major services and perform follow-up repair work, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

We offer a clear career path, with an uncapped bonus scheme and an average additional earning of £5,000 per year, plus benefits and generous leave. A full UK driving licence is required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, aircon servicing).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs/replacements.
• Perform tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension work as needed.
