The role

As a Vehicle Quality Control Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring our defence vehicles meet the highest standards of quality, technical specifications, and performance. Day‑to‑day you’ll be:
  • Inspecting vehicle parts and monitoring build activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assessing pulse line performance and validating quality assurance documentation.
  • Reviewing supplier certifications and supporting robust audit programs.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Providing quality assurance support across procurement and supply chain activities.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport.

Essential experience of the Vehicle Quality Control Technician:
  • Proven experience in HGV/PCV vehicle maintenance, assembly, inspection, and testing.
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office).
  • A team player with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications for the Vehicle Quality Control Technician:
  • CAT C HGV Driving Licence as a minimum
