Job summary

Motorpoint Ltd in Glasgow is hiring a Vehicle Preparation Assistant to ensure cars meet our high standards before handover to customers or display on site. You will perform inspections, assist with reconditioning and valeting, and photograph vehicles to company standards, supporting the prep team in all weather conditions.

This permanent role offers 42.5 hours per week on a 5 of 7 rota, with weekend work and a £13.10 per hour base pay plus monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivation to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections for damage, verify vehicle specs and service history.
• Assist with vehicle reconditioning and valeting for customer collection and display.
• Photograph vehicles to company standards for marketing and records.
• Conduct vehicle check-ins in all weather conditions.
• Handle personal data in line with GDPR requirements.
• Support vehicle movements on-site and off-site.
• Liaise with drivers and transporters, resolving challenges professionally.
• Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required.
