Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in light & heavy vehicle mechanics required.
• Experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles is essential.
• Must be computer literate with fleet management systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and plant.
• Inspect vehicles to Department of Transport standards.
• Service vehicles and plant according to manufacturer recommendations.

Skills

City & Guilds qualification in light & heavy vehicle mechanics

Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and plant

Computer literate, with experience using fleet management systems

Ability to make cost-effective decisions while maintaining safety

Strong communication skills
