A leading automotive service group in Wales is looking for a Qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their busy Bodyshop team. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience, a City in Guilds qualification, and be adept in quality paint preparation. We are looking to appoint a Qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to compliment our existing busy Bodyshop team.
The successful individual must ensure the highest quality standards are maintained, specialising in car body repairs and crash repairs. As a Paint Technician you will be expected to carry out body repair and paint work, paying particular attention to quality and speed of completion in a way that reflects franchised dealership standards. You will ensure that every vehicle is 100% prepared and that all jobs are completed within agreed time frames, maintaining a high level of productivity and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
you must be experienced in all aspects of paint preparation and water‑based paint technique, holding at least a City in Guilds qualification in spray painting or equivalent. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail with regard to high quality paint preparation and the application of approved paint products according to manufacturers’ specifications.
you must have at least two years’ experience as a Vehicle Painter within a Bodyshop environment, and hold a full UK driving licence. You should understand and adhere to Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH requirements, and possess excellent communication skills, developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues, clients and manufacturers.
A full and valid UK driving licence is required.
