Job summary

Rocket Staffing Group Ltd in Corby is seeking a Painter to carry out vehicle paint preparation, masking and spray painting using water-based paints. You will ensure colour accuracy and prepare spray-out cards, while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently on vehicles; overtime is paid after 12 weeks. Standard shift is 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when required.

Responsibilities

• Paint preparation of the vehicle - masking and prepping if required.
• Spray painting required vehicles using water based paints.
• Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match.
• Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly.
• Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required.
