Job summary

A local motor trade service provider in Kentisbeare is seeking experienced vehicle mechanics/fitters to join their team. Candidates will perform various maintenance and repair tasks, working both in the workshop and on-site at customer locations. A flexible approach is required to meet the demands of the business. Strong mechanical knowledge and previous experience in vehicle maintenance is preferred. Excellent rates of pay for the right candidates.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team essential.
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform common maintenance and repair operations as well as specialist repairs.
  • Be prepared to travel to customer's premises for onsite repairs.
  • Maintain workshop standards through good housekeeping.

Job description

Due to expansion we are seeking to appoint vehicle mechanics/fitters to join our team providing a comprehensive service within the motor trade industry for fleet services. Working from our Kentisbeare depot, the successful candidates will ideally be experienced in a wide range of mechanics and will be expected to work both as part of a team or on their own, working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards at all times. Various shifts are available. Working both at the workshop & out in the field a degree of flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business and working Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate.
