Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Toyota Bromley

Salary: Up to £45,000 basic (depending on experience and brand accreditations) + uncapped OTE of £20,000

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am‑5:30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8am‑1pm (paid at 1.5x overtime rate)

£2,000 joining bonus for new starters. Guaranteed bonus whilst on holidays.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team at Toyota Bromley. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with a passion for diagnostics, hybrid technology, and delivering high‑quality service and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using manufacturer‑specific tools and systems
  • Complete servicing, repairs, maintenance, and software updates to a high standard
  • Work on hybrid and electric vehicles with access to the latest training and technologies
  • Conduct road tests and final quality checks to ensure all work is completed to required standards
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and adhere to manufacturer and safety regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices
  • Work efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets
What We're Looking For
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
  • Ability to work productively to meet time and efficiency targets
  • High attention to detail and commitment to first‑time fixes
  • Eagerness to develop knowledge, particularly in hybrid/EV systems
  • A full UK driving licence is required
