Job description
Position: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Ashchurch
The Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of in-service Military vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring these vehicles and equipment are kept in optimal condition for their intended purpose.

Day to day, you will be responsible for carrying out work in accordance with customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, process plans, and other technical publications. You will also be expected to effectively utilise stores and equipment issued for the job and promptly report any new faulty material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, inspect, and assess vehicles and associated mechanical/electrical equipment in line with your skills and competency.
  • Ensure proper usage of stores and equipment issued for the job, promptly reporting any new faulty material to the section/department supervisor.
  • Create job cards and request materials when you have completed relevant ERP (SAP) training.
  • Complete vehicle and equipment documentation and test certificates/reports to current standards.
Essential Experience
