Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Telford – Full time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £32,760 + overtime

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be part of a skilled and dedicated team responsible for maintaining and repairing military vehicles and electrical equipment. Your work will directly support the UK’s defence capability – making this a career with real purpose and impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Servicing, repairing, and overhauling military vehicles and electrical systems
• Diagnosing, inspecting, and assessing vehicles and associated equipment
• Creating job cards and requesting materials using ERP (SAP) systems
• Completing documentation and test certificates to current standards
• Ensuring correct use of stores and returning unused or faulty items

Your skills and experiences

• NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair
• Preferred: Ex-REME Class 1 Vehicle Mechanic with current competencies (not essential)
