Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to service and repair vehicles across Leconfield, Catterick and Newcastle, supporting national security and public safety. The role is full-time and permanent, with a 37-hour week and potential relocation assistance.

• Ability to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance.

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be part of a skilled and dedicated team maintaining and repairing the vehicles that support our armed forces and emergency services. This is a full-time, permanent role based at Catterick, Leconfield or Newcastle. You’ll work 37 hours per week: Monday–Thursday (8 hours/day) and Friday (5 hours), with opportunities for overtime. Set working times are in place. A relocation package may be available, subject to eligibility.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
