Job Title: Vehicle Repair Technician

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST1

Type: Permanent

Salary: £40kpa including overtime plus excellent company benefits

Workchain is currently seeking a Vehicle Repair Technician for our nationally recognised client based in Stoke on Trent, ST1 on a permanent basis.

This role involves working on a variety of vehicles, trailers and large vans ensuring they are maintained and repaired to the highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles, trailers and vans
  • Repairs, conducting necessary repairs to ensure vehicles and trailers are road and service ready
  • Diagnostics and fault finding, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify faults
  • Safety inspections, performing safety inspections to ensure all vehicles and trailers comply with health and safety regulations prior to use
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • A professionally recognised qualification in vehicle / maintenance and repair, NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent is ideal
  • Experience, previous experience working on vehicles, trailers and vans

Ideally candidates must have a good working knowledge of petrol, diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as an experience of working with various vehicles, trailers and vans.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday. Times are TBC at the time of appointment.

Further overtime is available during busy periods.

The starting salary is £40kpa with overtime, with excellent company benefits.
