Overview

Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Bristol
Hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota – 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £37,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £44,000)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's main dealership in Bristol. The successful Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic with a relevant and up-to-date Level 3 qualification.
• Demonstrates pride in their work and a high level of attention to detail.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
