A global courier service provider in the UK is seeking a Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and reliability of their vehicle fleet. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and preparing vehicles for MOT testing. The ideal candidate will have relevant licenses, experience in vehicle repairs, and strong troubleshooting skills. Benefits include holiday entitlement, a retirement plan, and more. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join the Engineering Team as a fully skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Technician based at our Vehicle Maintenance Unit in Durham.
Your role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will maintain FedEx Assets' safety and reliability by performing service and maintenance of the company fleet of vehicles and trailers in line with planned maintenance schedules, ensuring that the fleet is safe, legal and fit for duties.
Working hours: 40 per week
Shift: Monday - Friday, 06:00-14:30 / 14:00-22:30 Rotating
Salary: Base pay £20.77 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£2.23 per hour), and 10pm - 6am (£2.70 per hour).
