Job summary

RAC is hiring a Vehicle Assessment Technician to join our Inspections & Recall Team. You will perform quality vehicle condition reporting and testing at client premises, using PDA reports, and maintain daily site inspections while liaising with customers.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, strong mechanical knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Training and career progression are supported within our market-leading framework.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent motor trade experience.
• Sound mechanical knowledge of vehicles and repair
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates and EV/Hybrid would be an advantage
• Strong written skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Complete work against set inspection procedures with findings reported via a PDA report template.
• Complete used-vehicle condition reports.
• Maintain daily site inspections through cooperation with other team colleagues.
• Maintain contact and interaction with customer contacts

Vehicle Assessment Technician –Up to £35,000 OTE!

RAC have an exciting opportunity for Vehicle Assessment Technicians to join our Inspections & Recall Team! As a Vehicle Assessment Technician, you will be an integral member of RAC and to our continued growth and delivery of exceptional service that RAC is known for. You will work within a team of experienced inspectors, to complete quality vehicle condition reporting and testing as part of a site-based inspector role at our clients' premises.

As a Vehicle Assessment Technician you will...

• A good understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software update and electric / hybrid vehicles would be an advantage
• Strong written skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
• A full UK driving licence
