Igloo Ltd is recruiting experienced Vehicle Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation across three sites on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. You will inspect vehicles before handover, record damage accurately and capture evidence via photos and handheld tech.

The role requires previous Vehicle Inspector experience, high attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within set timeframes while maintaining quality. Weekly pay and onsite parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Vehicle Inspector is essential.
• Good knowledge of vehicle inspection standards and procedures.
• Excellent eye for detail to identify damage.
• Confident using handheld technology and computer systems.
• Able to quickly learn and follow new inspection standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently within set timeframes without compromising inspection quality.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for experienced Vehicle Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation based across three sites on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.

The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting vehicles before they are handed over to transport companies and carriers, ensuring all damage and vehicle condition is accurately recorded and documented.

The Role:

As a Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out outbound vehicle inspections prior to vehicles leaving site.
• Accurately recording any damage using handheld technology and inspection software.
• Taking photographs to evidence damage and accurately identifying its location on the vehicle.
• Ensuring all required exit documentation is completed when damage or other issues are identified.
• Following company inspection guidelines, procedures and required standards.
• Completing inspections within the required timeframes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• Working independently as well as part of a wider team.

The Person:

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Inspector is essential.
• Good knowledge and understanding of vehicle inspection standards and procedures.
