A leading vehicle assessment company is seeking a Vehicle Image Damage Assessor to prepare reports for insurance purposes. Responsibilities include conducting market research to assess vehicle values and assigning salvage categories. Applicants should have strong communication skills and body shop estimating experience. The position is primarily remote, with some attendance at the Head Office required. Competitive salary and benefits offered including 23 days holiday, health cash plan, and pension scheme.
As a Copart Vehicle Image Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for preparing an engineer's report on behalf of insurance companies.
You will check all documents containing information on any physical damage, vehicle information, vehicle images, as well as any vital information regarding the vehicle, and make necessary amendments as required.
You will be responsible for conducting market research to identify the market value of the vehicle, by considering all aspects of conditions including mileage, previous damage, HPI data, and other information. You will assign salvage categories using the ABI Code of Practice and considering company guidelines.
You will be aware of our Service Level Agreements and adhere to the different processes to maintain them. Training will be provided for our internal systems used in report writing.
This position is a remote role, working from home, although you may be required to attend our Head Office or an Operation Centre.
