Job description

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Fitter on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne, on a temp-to-perm basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience using hand and power tools, with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a workshop environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Bolting fixings and components into vehicles.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools daily.
• Working with steel and aluminium materials.
• Assembling, fitting, and modifying vehicle parts as required.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to high quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Undertaking other general duties within the workshop as required.

Experience, Education & Qualifications

• Prior experience using hand and power tools is essential.
• Experience working on vehicles is advantageous.
• Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Health and safety conscious.

Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm or 8:00am - 2:00pm
