Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Engine Technician for a well-established, family-run independent garage in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. The role offers stability, career progression, and a friendly team environment.

You will service and repair a range of vehicles, diagnose faults, fit engines, cambelts and clutches, and work to high standards ensuring roadworthiness after servicing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Vehicle Engine Technician within a main dealer or independent garage environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Qualified technicians preferred; 'time served' technicians with a stable background will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service and repair checks on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently.
• Fit engines, clutches, cambelts, and perform welding tasks.
• Complete work within specified timeframes, adhering to company standards.
• Maintain a professional image and high standards of quality service.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness following repairs and servicing.
