Job description

Mechanic/ Vehicle Technician – full‑time basis. WANTED! Car and Van Mechanic to join our team.

Your role will involve most aspects of maintenance and repair on cars, vans and LGVs. Services, MOT repairs, cam belts, clutches, head gaskets and diagnostic work. We also do 4‑wheel alignment, tyres, air‑con, terraclean, walnut blasting, DPF cleaning, fleet work and more. We carry out class 4 and 7 MOTs on site.

Standard hours are 45 hours per week, overtime available, with other bonuses and benefits along the way, including other training in diagnostics and electric vehicles coming in.

Candidates must live in the UK and preferably be local within the West Midlands.

Salary: £27,000.00‑£39,500.00 per year.

Responsibilities

Drive day‑to‑day pressures in a normal vehicle workshop, handling MOTs, engine repairs, alignment, diagnostics, fleet work and more. Provide regular training in electric vehicles and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as a Motor Vehicle Technician and hold NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technician. NVQ level 2 will be considered for the right experience.
• Minimum 3 years mechanical knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence required; holding a licence is an advantage, though driver training can be provided to the successful applicant.
