BCA, the UK’s largest B2B used vehicle service, is hiring a Vehicle Assessor in Leeds. You will inspect vehicles as they enter the yard and record their condition for listing on our online platform. You’ll complete accurate reports using our mobile inspection app to ensure right-first-time delivery for customers.

We welcome detail-oriented people with energy, able to work outdoors and in all weather. A full UK driving licence and IT skills with handheld devices are essential; prior automotive

• Full UK Driving Licence held for 2+ years (essential).
• Comfortable driving manual, automatic, hybrid, and light goods vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interest in cars or the automotive industry.

• Recording and securing loose items found in vehicles.

Main purpose of the role

Are you detail-oriented with an interest in cars? Looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry?

We’re hiring a Vehicle Assessor to join BCA. You’ll play a key role in inspecting and recording the condition of vehicles as they enter our site, ensuring they are ready for sale through our online platform.

Using our mobile inspection app, you’ll complete accurate, consistent vehicle reports—helping deliver a smooth, “right first time” experience for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Booking in vehicles, logging mileage and key details
• Checking and verifying vehicle documentation
• Identifying any damage, including transit-related issues
• Recording and securing loose items found in vehicles
• Recommending and ordering standard and enhancement services
• Using handheld technology and mobile apps daily
• Working safely in a busy yard environment

To be successful, you’ll bring following with you:

• Full UK Driving Licence held for 2+ years (essential)
• Comfortable driving manual, automatic, hybrid, electric and light goods vehicles (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Interest in cars or the automotive industry
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Good IT skills (mobile apps, handheld devices)
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Previous automotive experience (desirable, not essential)
