We are looking for a brilliant Senior Suspension Design Engineer to be responsible for designing to meet packaging and specification constraints, and creating detailed design of structural mechanical and composite components.
They will also ensure end to end responsibility for the development of subsystems and components and act as the department's representative in all communications with internal and external development partners within your area of responsibility.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Derive detailed design specifications for subsystems based on vehicle-level requirements;
Execute detailed design activities, including hand calculations and high-quality detail drawings, balancing performance and manufacturability;
Monitor technology developments to ensure design standards remain state-of-the-art;
Prepare and issue documentation for component testing and trackside operations;
Manage actions to resolve quality issues during production.
Collaborate with concept, vehicle performance, and aerodynamics teams to maximize the impact of suspension and driver controls on overall car performance;
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and technical partners;
Provide remote support from the factory (Operations Room) during selected race or track events;
Demonstrate flexibility in attendance and approach to work, based on role and project needs.
Foster teamwork by maintaining and developing strong relationships within the department and across functions;
Mentor junior designers and oversee external design resources;
Promote a positive team culture and encourage continuous improvement;
Maintain professionalism at all times and proactively promote a positive image of the department, team, and sponsors.
