IVC Evidensia is a dynamic and rapidly growing business offering an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the Indirect Tax team. Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Taxes, this role provides ownership of VAT compliance for selected regions, alongside the opportunity to support and collaborate closely with the commercial operations of the business.
This role will provide VAT technical support across the IVC Evidensia Group and includes the opportunity to directly manage a team of VAT Associates within the team.
The primary responsibility for the Group VAT manager is to provide VAT technical support to the Head of Indirect Taxes or directly to the business. This will include areas such as applicable VAT rates, partial exemption methodology, treatment of rebates, integration of new businesses.
The Group VAT Manager will manage, provide support to, and review the outputs of the VAT Associates, who undertake the preparation of all VAT returns across the Group. Managing the VAT control framework. This includes identifying and implementing process improvements, while ensuring compliance with MTD.
Providing support on project work on an ad hoc basis, this could include, for example, supporting the implementation of the Group's new ERP system, advising on M&A or one-off restructuring projects
