The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Vascular Access Specialist Nurse to join our dedicated Vascular Access Team at Chelsea, London. You will lead ultrasound‑guided cannulation and PICC insertions, coordinate patient care and contribute to specialist clinical practice and service development.

Qualifications

• RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration or to be obtained within three months of appointment
• Be willing to undertake Trust CNS role development programme or be able to demonstrate equivalent competencies
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Diploma or Degree level study (or equivalent)
• Qualification in oncology or speciality
• Registration
• Evidence of on‑going professional development

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a shift with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care
• Exercise clinical judgment about patient needs and long‑term goals or plans
• Participate in day‑to‑day organisation of the Vascular Access Team including triage of referrals, PICC insertion, and liaison with other medical teams
