Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as an LCV Technician / Van Technician.
  • Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop.
  • Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods.
  • Driving Licence is Essential.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all light commercial vehicle service work and defined maintenance work.
  • Deliver professional performance in work activities.
  • Support colleagues in the workshop with technical issues.
  • Carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Document diagnosis/repairs/service results.

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership Client for an LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Tewkesbury area.

  • 4-weekly shift pattern. One week of early shifts, one week of late shifts, and two weeks of day shifts.
  • The early shift is 6:00am-3:00pm. The day shift is normally 7:00am/8:00am-4:00/5:00pm. The late shift is 1:00pm-10:00pm.
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 7:00am-1:00pm paid as overtime.
Responsibilities
  • To complete all light commercial vehicle service work and defined maintenance work of the utmost quality and efficiency within manufacturers' time schedules.
  • Supply a professional performance in all aspects of work activities to make an essential contribution to the value and retention of customers.
  • Supporting colleagues in the workshop with any technical issues and innovations.
  • Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions on light commercial vehicles.
  • To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are always adhered to.
  • Document the results of diagnosis/repairs/service/safety inspections.
