Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an Automotive independent garage, for an LCV Technician/ Van Technician based in the Ilkeston area.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of vehicles including cars and vans
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard, maintaining safety and efficiency
• Assisting with MOTs if qualified – if not, training will be provided
• Supporting the wider workshop team and sharing knowledge

Requirements

• Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Confident in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
• MOT licence preferred – training provided for the right candidate
• Comfortable working on vans.
• A team player looking for a long‑term role within a supportive team

The salary of this Van Technician position is £42,000 basic with OTE of £44,000.
