Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Purfleet-on-Thames is looking for a Van Fitter. You will be responsible for modifying vehicles according to customer specifications, which includes fitting tail lifts and other installations. A valid van license and good communication skills are essential. This ongoing role offers competitive pay with overtime available; Monday to Friday shifts start from 6 am to 7 am and finish from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Qualifications

• A valid full category van/B1 license is required.
• No more than 6 points on your license for insurance purposes.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Van Fitter

Ongoing Role
Monday to Friday (Overtime available)
6am -7am starts
3pm - 4pm finishes

Rate of Pay:
Basic - £16.36
OT - £21.81
Sat - £24.54
Sun - £32.72

Job role will include:

• Modifying vehicle to customers needs
• Drilling vehicle
• Fitting and installing tail lifts, internal lighting, racking, etc
• Other tasks as and when required

The Candidate:

• A valid full category van/B1 licence is required
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences please)
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
