A leading logistics company in Glasgow is looking for a Forklift Driver to manage warehouse operations and deliveries across central Scotland. Responsibilities include driving forklifts, processing paperwork, and ensuring the safety of the cargo. A valid forklift licence and knowledge of Airfreight are required. The role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum with a Monday to Friday work schedule, totalizing 45 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Forklift driving in the warehouse.
- Adhering to all safe practices.
- Processing all paperwork.
- Booking in all freight.
- Segregation of cargo.
- Load / unload all vehicles in line with the company code of practice and use
appropriate equipment.
- Doing deliveries / collections within central Scotland.
- Maintain security of load while loading, transporting and delivering.
- Comply with various legislations regarding vehicle safety.

Experience & Qualifications

- Forklift licence.
- Knowledge of Airfreight.
- Geographical knowledge of major UK roads.
- Sound knowledge of Highway Code and speed limits for size of vehicle / type of
road.
- Good working knowledge of manual loading / unloading and securing freight.
- Unacceptable endorsements: Drink or drugs related endorsements within the past
10 years / any disqualifications in the past 5 years / any codes on licence with
prefix: IN CD, DD, DR, and BA.
- Training will be provided for CAA Aviation security protocols and legislation
requirements.
- Training will be provided in all administration and working practices requirements
for Circle Express.

Days & Hours

- Monday to Friday working
- 07h00am to 17h00pm
- 45 hours per week with a 1 hour unpaid break

Salary

- £30,000 per annum
