Van Delivery Driver, Taunton

Location: Wellington, TA21 9RF

Salary: £32,500 plus overtime and bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm (flexibility required)

Start Date: As soon as possible

As a dependable and experienced Van Delivery Driver, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our company in all interactions.

Role Overview

In this role, you will join our Transport department and work to ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery and collection of Conquip products. You will liaise with the Depot Manager to coordinate logistics and maintain a customer‑first approach at all times. Communication between the office and the customer will be crucial to ensuring on‑time delivery is maintained or exceeded on each occasion. Compliance with all regulations, including Tacho and DSA driving standards, is essential, as is maintaining a positive image of the Conquip brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect Conquip products to and from their final destination in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Liaise with Transport Manager regarding logistics and ensure a customer‑first approach is taken at all times.
  • Communicate between the office and the customer to ensure on‑time delivery is maintained or exceeded on each occasion.
  • Adhere to all regulations, including Tacho and DSA driving standards.
  • Maintain a positive image of the Conquip brand to customers.
  • Maintain the vehicle to a high level and ensure various compliance requirements are achieved.
