Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting a Van Driver for a well-established automotive distribution business based in Birmingham. This is a long-term ongoing role offering potential for permanent employment and a professional operation with modern fleet.

You will deliver vehicle parts to commercial customers in the local area, typically 6–8 drops per shift, with early start times and a pay rate of £12.76 per hour. This is a Monday–Friday position with ongoing work throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Van driver experience preferred.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting/manual handling.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately using electronic devices.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
• Good understanding of road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to businesses and garages.
• Typically carry out 6 to 8 drops per shift.
• Load, unload and handball products safely and efficiently.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately using an electronic POD device.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects where necessary.
• Deliver excellent levels of customer service.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.

About the Role

Working within the automotive industry, the successful Van Driver will be responsible for delivering vehicle parts to commercial customers throughout the local area.

Shift Pattern

• Start times available between 04:00 and 12:00
• Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements
