Van Driver / Labourer – Full-Time (Essex & London Area)

Are you practical, reliable, and looking for a hands-on role where every day is different?
We’re looking for aVan Driver / Labourerto join our team, supporting specialist cleaning, restoration, and property works across a variety of residential and commercial sites.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Occasional overtime (paid at an enhanced rate)
  • Participation in on-call rota as required
  • Minimum age: 25+(insurance requirement)

  • Keen to learn and develop new practical skills
Requirements
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Confident driving a van in the Essex and London area
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment safely
  • Comfortable using tablets/iPads for basic reporting and documentation
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Basic DIY or property maintenance experience (advantageous)
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS (criminal background) check
Key Responsibilities
  • Driving company vans to and from sites, ensuring safe and timely transport of materials and equipment
  • Assisting with strip-out, deep cleaning, and general site preparation tasks
  • Setting up and maintaining specialist equipment as required
  • Handling, cleaning, and storing furniture and household items
  • Completing simple digital reports using mobile devices
  • Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and team members on-site
  • Following all Health & Safety protocols, including correct use of PPE and risk assessments
  • Keeping company vehicles clean, stocked, and well-maintained
  • Attending training sessions (in-house and external) as needed
