A local driving agency in Gloucester is seeking experienced van drivers to deliver to various clients, especially for supermarket home deliveries. This role offers flexibility in working days, an immediate start, and guaranteed 8 hours of pay daily. Candidates must have a valid UK driving license and prior commercial driving experience. Competitive hourly rates are provided, including £12.82 during the week and £15.00 for weekends.

• Cat B UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (for minor offences).
• Proven commercial driving experience is required.

Job description

We are looking for experienced van drivers to join our team for a variety of clients based across Gloucestershire with a particular need for supermarket home deliveries.

Start times will vary between some early mornings and some early evening starts.

Your own transport to get to and from work is preferable due to locations of companies and start times.

You will have anywhere between 1 and 15 drops and cover most of the UK. Vehicle, fuel etc. will all be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Flexibility around days of work (we are happy to work around your availability)
• Immediate start
• Manal Handling will often be involved
• Average hours 8-10 per day (guaranteed 8 hour pay)

Salary:

• Monday to Friday £12.82 per hour PAYE Adv (Advanced payroll method inclusive of holiday pay)- paid weekly and £15.00 weekend rate for food delivery.

You will need:

• Cat B UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (for minor offences)
• Proven commercial driving experience
