Job summary

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting dedicated Van Drivers for our client, an oil waste management company in Perivale UB6. TEMP TO PERM POSITION. Start times between 5am and 8am with 10–11 hour shifts. £15.50 p/h PAYE and weekly pay.

Typical duties include collecting used cooking oil, delivering supplies, manual handling, and maintaining vehicle condition while providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have a Category B licence, 2+ years experience, and be 25+ for insurance.

Qualifications

• UK Category B manual licence held 2+ years.
• Max 3 points; no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90.
• Aged 25+ for insurance.
• 6+ months commercial/van experience.
• Able to travel to depot and start shift at 5am.
• Physically fit for lifting and loading.

Responsibilities

• Collect used cooking oil and deliver fresh supplies (50kg upto 120kg).
• Collect full barrels of used cooking oil and fats from customers.
• Manual handling, including stairs/basements.
• Follow a planned route each day to stay organised and efficient.
• Up to 20 drops a shift during busy season.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report damages or issues promptly.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service and maintain relationships with customers and office.

£15.50 p/h PAYE | Weekly Pay

Duties:

• Collect used cooking oil and deliver fresh supplies (50kg upto 120kg)
• You collect full barrels of used cooking oil and fats from customers.
• Manual handling, including stairs/basements
• Follow a planned route each day, helping you work efficiently, stay organised and make the most of your time
• Up 20 drops a shift during busy season
• Keeping the vehicle clean and well maintained, reporting any damage or issues promptly.
• Providing professional, friendly customer service and maintaining positive relationships with customers and the office team.
