Job summary

FTS Group is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a leading British furniture retailer. The role features early start (06:00) on weekdays, with no weekend work, and a guaranteed minimum pay period.

Deliveries include door-step or room-of-choice options, with some white-glove service and light assembly tasks. The position is permanent after a temp-to-perm period, paying £14.83 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, with fortnightly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months UK experience driving a van.
• Licence must not exceed 6 points (no DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1).

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers with some white-glove service, including unboxing and rubbish removal.
• Assist with placing items either at door step or room of choice; follow pre-planned routes with a driver-driver crew.
• Handle flat-pack items such as wardrobes and beds as part of routine deliveries.

FTS Group has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Van Driver.

Job Details:

• Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday, no weekends
• Start Time: 0600am til finish
• Shift Duration: (min 8 guaranteed pay)
• Pay £14.83 per hour - This pay rate is inclusive of holiday pay and pay is fortnightly on set pay days.
• Start Date: Immediate start available

Products Being Delivered:

• House furnishings
• Either Door step delivery or delivery to room of customer choice, routing is sensible
• Some White Glove service, unbox, remove rubbish product install
• Will include some flat pack items - wardrobes / beds.
• Part of a driver-driver crew
• Pre-planned routes in a driver-driver crew

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: £14.83 per hour including holiday pay
• Strictly no umbrellas companies. PAYE
• Temp to perm with an ASAP start
