Job summary

Proman in Reading is hiring for a dual-role Van Driver and Warehouse Operative. You will deliver parts to customer sites and, when not driving, pick and pack orders in a busy warehouse, contributing to speed and accuracy.

This temp-to-perm position requires a full UK driving licence, readiness to lift up to 25kg, and strong teamwork and reliability. Hours are Mon-Fri 06:30-15:30 with some Saturday mornings; great hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Manual handling up to 25kg required.
• Van driving or warehouse experience beneficial.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible; good communication and teamwork.

Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - Reading | Temp to Perm

We're recruiting Van Drivers who are also happy to support with picking and packing duties in a busy warehouse environment. Join a leading distributor of light and commercial vehicle parts, supplying over 35,000 repairers across the UK & Ireland.

Location: Reading

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 06:30 - 15:30 (flexibility required)

• Every Other Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Role Overview: This is a dual-role position combining van deliveries with warehouse operative tasks. You'll be responsible for accurate order picking, packing, and delivering parts to customer sites.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 25kg

• Previous van driving or warehouse experience beneficial
