Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking a medical delivery/van driver to support our client across the Oxfordshire area. The role involves delivering blood and tissue samples, inter-site transport, and internal mail between sites.

You will work a 37.5 hour week on a rota starting between 06:00 and 12:00, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 37.5 hours. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are required; 18+ and licence points limits apply. Full training provided, with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• A basic DBS check will be required for the role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting blood and tissue samples between sites.
• Delivering internal mail between different sites.
• Making 20–30 drops per day.
• Pathology delivery and collections.
• Induction and assessments will be paid for.

Position:

Van Driver

Hours:

Start between 06:00 - 12:00 (rota basis) per week

Days:

Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours a week

Pay rate:

£12.71 per hour

Overtime:

Paid at x1.5 after 37.5hours worked

Responsibilities

• Transporting blood and tissue samples between sites
• Making anywhere between 20-30 drops per day
• Pathology delivery and collections
• Delivering internal mail between different sites
• Collecting samples from surgeries as well as hospitals
• No hazardous goods or heavy lifting required
• Full training will be provided and further opportunities for progression or movement within the company down the line
• Induction and assessments will be paid for

Requirements

• Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes

• Full UK driving licence
• A basic DBS check will be required for the role
