Annual Salary £20,966 (£13.44 per Hour) plus a great range of benefits.

Shift detail: start varies between 5:00am – 6:00am depending on the time of year. Working a 2‑weekly rota, week 1 is 6 days a week and week 2 has Wed and Thurs off. 30‑hour contract.

You'll start with a thorough induction – then you'll be providing our customers with a friendly, totally dedicated delivery service of food orders, taking care to resolve any issues along the way. It's a vital role, and it can be hard work, but a Medina Van Driver makes it look easy!

You'll need to pay attention to accurately pick on vehicle, deliver customer orders and maintain product temperatures in a multi‑temperature controlled vehicle. You must be aware of DVSA compliance to ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard and that the vehicle is roadworthy. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customer premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.

You'll require a full driver’s licence and extensive road knowledge of our local area. As our 3.5t Van Driver you'll use your strong communication and teamwork skills, knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions. If you have the ambition to become an HGV2 driver in the future, we'd be happy to support you through our driver development programme.
