Job summary

Medina Food Service in Millbrook, Southampton, is hiring a Van Driver on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for accurate order picking, delivering to customer premises and maintaining temperatures in a multi-temperature vehicle.

DVSA vehicle checks, health and safety compliance, and manual handling are part of the role. The package includes a £23,785 annual salary plus a great range of benefits, with shifts Monday to Saturday starting at 06:30am.

Qualifications

• Pay attention to picking accuracy and on-vehicle delivery of orders.
• Maintain product temperatures in a multi-temperature vehicle.
• Follow DVSA checks and ensure roadworthiness.

A satisfying role

You'll need to pay attention for accuratelypicking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle. You'll need awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)Compliancet to ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.
