Job summary

Multi-Drop Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative - Bolton - Temp to Perm - Immediate Starts Available!

Due to the continued growth of our client, Centric Talent is recruiting experienced Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established business in Bolton, one of the UK's leading suppliers of bathrooms and bathroom fittings.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering full-time hours, overtime opportunities, and the chance to join a successful and growing business.

This is a hybrid Driver / Warehouse Operative role, so when you are not out completing deliveries, you will be based in the warehouse supporting the wider team with day-to-day warehouse duties. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

Pay Rate

• £12.93 per hour plus monthly performance related bonus opportunities
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates after 40 hours worked
• Monthly pay

Working Hours

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Shift start times include:

• 5:00am - 1:30pm
• 5:30am - 2:00pm
• 6:00am - 2:30pm

Flexibility is essential, as finish times may vary depending on delivery routes.

Your Responsibilities

As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Delivering bathroom products to a range of customers
• Completing around 20 deliveries per day
• Driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
• Loading and unloading goods, including heavy items
• Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
• Occasionally completing longer-distance delivery routes
• Supporting the warehouse team when not out on deliveries
• General warehouse duties as required to support the operation

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience driving 3.5-tonne multi-drop delivery vehicles
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes)
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A reliable and professional attitude
• The ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
• A flexible approach and willingness to support both the driving and warehouse teams
