Job summary

Extra Recruitment are recruiting for Van Drivers to join a growing nationwide delivery operation, delivering luxury flat-pack furniture to customers across the UK.

This role offers Monday to Friday work with early start times and 8-hour days, plus the potential of a permanent position. You will drive modern Sprinter or Luton vans in a two-person team and handle customer deliveries with care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous van driving experience.
• Good customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Reliable, punctual and presentable.
• Comfortable working as part of a two-person team.
• Happy to assist with deliveries and maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.

Responsibilities

Van Driver – Luxury Furniture Deliveries

£14.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join a growing nationwide delivery operation, delivering high-quality luxury flat-pack furniture to customers across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, customer-focused drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position.

The Role:

• Delivering luxury flat-pack furniture to customers nationwide.
• Working as part of a 2-man delivery team.
• Monday to Friday, with start times between 6:00am and 6:30am.
• 8-hour working days.
• Starting with approximately 12 drops per day, increasing to 15–20 once settled into the role.
• Driving modern, new Sprinter or Luton vans.
• Saturday overtime available at an enhanced rate.
• Opportunity to preload vehicles the evening before where the following day's load is ready.

Pay & Benefits:

• £14.50 per hour.
• Saturday overtime paid at £18.13 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity.
• Modern, new vehicles and all necessary equipment provided on site.

The Ideal Candidate:

Additional Information:

• Drivers are responsible for keeping their allocated vehicle clean, including washing it weekly.
• Branded company T-shirts must be worn with black combat trousers or black work trousers.
• Monthly team meetings will be held.
• All equipment required for the role will be provided on site.
