Job summary

DONDRI in Exeter is recruiting a reliable Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will deliver automotive parts to local garages and trade customers, and assist in warehouse duties during slower delivery periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts and parcels to local garages and trade customers.
• Deliveries include brake pads, discs, nuts and bolts, mirrors, wipers, fluids and batteries.
• Assist within the warehouse: picking/packing, scanning stock, loading/unloading, sorting returns, processing parcels.

Van Driver / Warehouse Operative – Exeter (EX2)

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter (EX2).

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
• Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday

Role Responsibilities:

As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts and parcels to local garages, trade customers, and other designated delivery points. Deliveries will include:

• Brake pads and brake discs
• Nuts and bolts
• Mirrors
• Windscreen wipers
• Vehicle fluids
• Batteries
• General parcels and customer orders

Please note that battery deliveries can range from motorcycle batteries to heavy-duty lorry batteries, so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.

Once delivery duties are completed, you will assist within the warehouse, carrying out tasks such as:

• Picking and packing orders
• Scanning stock
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Sorting returns
• Identifying and processing damaged items
• Processing parcel shipments
• General warehouse duties as required
