Job summary

A logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Van Driver for ADHOC work, with Monday to Friday shifts available. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Cat B Licence and have a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience. Responsibilities include the delivery of fresh produce and loading/unloading. Competitive pay rates apply.

Overview

Van Driver – Leicestershire, LE67 • ADHOC work • Monday to Friday Shifts available

Pay rates: Monday - Friday £12.21ph

Shift patterns: 0500 starts • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of produce on various routes
  • Loading and unloading fresh produce with care and attention up to 25kg - sack barrow provided
  • 10-25 drops per shift
  • 8-10 hour run
  • Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs
Requirements
  • You MUST be in possession of a valid Cat B Licence
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years commercial Van Driving experience
  • Must have a Multi-drop experience
  • Produce delivery experience would be an added advantage
  • No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences please)
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, upbeat, self-motivated and resilient
  • You must have good geographical knowledge
