Job description

Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 4 Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives on a Temp to Perm basis for our client Lanes Group who are a Drainage Contractor based in Jenkins Lane Barking, and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to successful applicants.

You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team van driving & unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway and also covering planned maintenance work and waste water projects. This can be dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is good long term job security.

All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for the role. No experience is needed as We will provide you with high quality training for this job for a number of weeks and this means your first two days at work will be at the Training Centre in Slough which is fully paid before you commence work at the Barking Depot which is situated in Jenkins Lane. Please ensure before applying that you are able to travel to Slough for the first two days training.

This position is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent contract and following the Temporary period this will result in a permanent position if successful.
