Job summary

Oliver Valves in Knutsford is seeking a Workshop Operative to join our manufacturing team on a Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm shift. You will assemble valves from machined components, perform basic functional tests, and support packing and dispatch, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Has some assembly or fitting experience (helpful but not essential)
• Reliable and takes pride in work
• Positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
• Keen to learn and get stuck in
• Basic numeracy, literacy and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves from machined components
• Carry out basic functional testing
• Assist with packing and dispatch and other workshop tasks
• Support other processes such as NDT when needed
• Work towards daily targets as part of a team
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and organised
