SGS in Immingham is seeking a Valve Technician to inspect, repair, test, and certify valves, actuators and related pressure systems across the UK. You will join our workshop team and visit customer sites to ensure safe and compliant operation of critical equipment.
The ideal candidate has valve overhaul, repair and testing experience, knowledge of pressure systems and a recognised engineering apprenticeship. A flexible, workshop/field role with 80% site work is expected.

As a Valve Technician, you will play a key role in the inspection, repair, maintenance, testing, and certification of a wide range of valves, actuators, and associated pressure systems. Working both from our Immingham workshop and at customer sites across the UK, you'll support clients in ensuring the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of critical equipment.
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of industries including oil & gas, fuel storage and distribution, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, waste and recycling, steelworks, chemical processing, power generation, and other industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with valves, pipework, pressure systems, pumps, rotating equipment, mechanical maintenance, or related industrial equipment.
