Job summary

CVI Infrared Optics is seeking an experienced Value Stream Leader to join the Operations team. This role owns a critical manufacturing value stream within a world-class photonics and infrared optics business serving aerospace, defence and industrial markets.

You will drive operational performance, lead production teams and engineers, and take accountability for delivery, quality, cost, safety and customer satisfaction. Strong Lean principles and people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement background.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance of a manufacturing value stream against safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency and profitability across the value stream.
• Coach multi-disciplinary teams including production personnel and engineers.
• Implement and sustain 5S and other lean practices across manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
• Develop people through coaching and succession planning.
