Value Assurance Team Leader

Role Overview: As the Value Assurance Team Leader, you will oversee the evaluation and approval of electronic components, ensuring compliance with technical standards and supporting product integrity across R&D and manufacturing. You will lead fault analysis, mentor team members, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead component testing and approval processes in line with company procedures.
  • Conduct fault finding and minor circuit redesigns to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for failure analysis and alternative component validation.
  • Provide technical support to purchasing and subcontract manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure robust documentation and change control through waivers and change requests.
  • Mentor junior engineers and deputize as needed within the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronics or a comparable industry.
  • HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of analogue circuits and component behaviour.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment, ERP, and PLM systems (training provided).
  • High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
